Robin joined our Denver Matter team in September 2017. Prior to Matter, she gained experience across a spectrum of career experiences in financial services. She started her career in asset management at Janus Capital in institutional sales and then spent time gaining financial planning experience at two Colorado investment management firms while earning her CFP®. She also built expertise serving complex families at Independent Means, where she served as a consultant to clients – family meetings and next generation preparation were two of her areas of focus. She is passionate about helping families thrive in the context of wealth focusing on human capital in addition to their financial capital. Most recently, she was a Vice President at JP Morgan’s Private Bank where she provided strategic advice to high net worth individuals and families on lending and capital structure, investments, deposits, and wealth transfer.
Robin is originally from the East Coast where she graduated from Colgate University with a BA in Environmental Geography. After college, she was drawn to life in the West and moved to Boulder, Colorado. She earned an MBA at the University of Denver. She is passionate about giving back and is a member of Social Venture Partners and the Women Donors Network. She also serves on the investment committee for the Friends School in Boulder. She enjoys skiing, running, and spending time with her husband, Dan, and three children, Tucker, Brooks and Lucy.
