Ryan arrived at Matter in May 2007 as a Financial Consultant after spending three years in General Electric’s Commercial Finance Group. He was looking to apply his strong interest in personal finance while building relationships, and he quickly earned his CFP® designation in 2009 to better serve clients. In addition to his engagement with Matter’s families for over a decade, Ryan serves as the leader of the Wealth Planning & Coordination committee.
Ryan’s natural leadership qualities and determination go beyond his professional life. He has been actively involved in the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition since 2009 and now serves on their governing board.
Ryan graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Analytic Finance and lives in Dallas with his wife, Jessica and daughters Reagan and Evelyn. When he’s not with clients or family, his passions involve traveling and athletics, especially endurance sports. While there are many marathons and even an Ironman in Ryan’s past, his most recent accomplishment was qualifying for the 121st Boston Marathon.
