What does it take to help Matter families thrive for generations? A talented team figures prominently in the equation. When we think about hiring, this means we have a lengthy interview process to help us bring in the right people to work with our families. But even more importantly, we are committed to helping each new person we bring in grow their career within the firm. This year, we are proud to promote an unprecedented 11 team members, and we are thrilled to provide the opportunity for each of these individuals to take the next step in their professional lives at Matter.
In our home St. Louis office, Matter promoted eight individuals.
Matt Mayfield (Financial Consultant): Initially joining Matter as an intern in 2016, Matt has shown particular talent in supporting some of our more complex engagements.
Adam Kerschinske (Financial Consultant): Over his two years at Matter, Adam has stood out in earning the trust and confidence of Matter families and in his mentorship of junior associates.
Andrew Sebastian (Senior Portfolio Management Consultant): Andrew is our resident Excel master and has played an instrumental role in streamlining our portfolio management operations.
Margaux Roth (Associate Director): Margaux’s excellent leadership skills have earned the trust and confidence of our families and our associates.
Lauren Hebel (Associate Director): When it comes to her clients and her leadership of Matter’s intern program, Lauren is known for her attention to detail.
Matt Kuykendall (Director of Portfolio Operations): Matt has taken the lead on streamlining our portfolio management operations and has taken on a larger leadership role over time as his team has grown to five associates.
Jen Disbennett (Manager of Portfolio Reporting): While Jen is an expert in keeping Matter’s data error free, she has also taken the opportunity to lead various Matter initiatives throughout the years.
In Matter’s Dallas Office, we announced two promotions.
Cathleen Crews (Director): Cathleen has made a big impact in a short time both through her outstanding client and team leadership and in her community engagement in our newest location.
Ryan Blackburn (Partner): Ryan has been on the Matter team for 12 years, beginning his career in St. Louis and recently moving to Texas to help establish Matter’s newest location. Ryan’s tireless work ethic, genuine care for both his teammates and our Matter families, and commitment to professional development have been apparent to all who interact with him. We couldn’t be more proud to make Ryan our newest Partner.
In Matter’s Denver Office, Robin Catlin was named a Managing Director. Robin has been recognized as an outstanding leader and has been instrumental in innovating the way we help families prepare for the complexities of wealth and build trust and communication. We look forward to many more years of Robin’s excellent leadership.
