Ashley C. Martin, CFP®, MBADirector
Ashley joined Matter in 2014 after seven years at Mercer Investment Consulting, where she handled investment performance evaluations for institutional and private wealth clients. She particularly enjoys helping Matter families align their financial plans with their values and wealth purpose, and her deep expertise in investment management, estate planning, cashflow management, and family communication help them realize their vision and goals.
A native of Chicagoland, Ashley received her BA in business finance from Elmhurst College before moving to St. Louis to earn her MBA at Webster University. She became a CFP® certificant in 2017 and co-founded the St. Louis Women in Investments Network (STLWIN) the same year. That idea was born of a desire to create a mentorship and support network for women in finance—something she built for herself as a young professional and found invaluable. Through lunch-and-learns, networking events, and social gatherings, STLWIN helps women in the St. Louis community grow and develop their careers in investment management.
Ashley loves being with family and spends summer days camping, hiking, and boating with her husband, daughter, and dogs. A collegiate cross-country athlete, she remains passionate about nutrition and exercise and does her best to follow a regular fitness routine when her busy schedule allows.
