Lauren Hebel, CFA
Lauren came to Matter in 2013, after a six-year stint at Crestone Capital Advisors in Boulder, Colorado. She brought a strong analytical background, an economics degree from James Madison University, and her CFA designation to Matter, and she is particularly skilled at helping families find technical solutions that align with their goals and values.
Based in our St. Louis office, Lauren works with Matter families around the country. She especially enjoys building relationships across generations and helping each family member develop financial knowledge and confidence. Lauren also helps to shape our firm’s investment strategy and point of view as a member of the Matter investment committee.
Though Lauren has lived all over the map, she is very happy to call St. Louis home. She and her husband have four children who keep them both very busy! When not at home in St. Louis, she enjoys taking her family on frequent trips to Colorado to ski, hike, and visit friends and family. She enjoys reading books that challenge her view of the world and discussing with her book club.
When she has free time, she volunteers at her church, in her children’s school, and for the Girl Scouts. Lauren and her eldest daughter have enjoyed serving the St. Louis community with the National Charity League. She believes strongly in giving back to the community and passing this on to the next generation.
