Matter Team
Brad Anzman
Brad joined the Matter team in 2025 as part of our merger with IWP, with more than two decades in the financial space, spanning both institutional and retail sectors. As an advisor at our firm, he leverages his significant experience advising and managing complex, multigenerational, single-family offices and consulting for hedge funds, entrepreneurs, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals to help improve our service platform and elevate our client experience.
Throughout his career, Brad has developed a deep understanding of the buy and sell sides of finance, working across the full spectrum of front- and back-office roles. This cross-functional fluency allows him to bridge strategic vision with operational execution. His approach centers on high-touch relationship management and a deep appreciation for the personal dynamics that shape family wealth. He takes pride in helping Matter’s client families align around purpose, foster cohesion, and translate aspirations into actionable strategies – while making sure they receive excellent service rooted in trust, discretion, and precision. His technical expertise in investment management, portfolio construction, and liquidity planning is also leveraged in his role on the Matter investment committee.
Before joining IWP in 2025, Brad served as vice president and an executive committee member for a multigenerational, single-family office in Denver, overseeing all investment and operational functions and leading efforts to professionalize and expand the firm’s institutional platform. Prior roles include senior risk manager and portfolio operations specialist and then global relationship manager at Ziff Brothers Investments, a market maker on the International ETF and swaps execution desk at Morgan Stanley, an equity derivatives analyst at BNP Paribas, and a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual.
Brad earned a BS in business administration from Kansas State University, where he majored in marketing and pre-law with a concentration in finance. He played on the Men’s Varsity Baseball Team, earned Big 12 All-Academic Honors, and served as the university’s student-athlete advisory committee representative to the NCAA commissioner. He also attended the executive MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Technical Analysis and Risk Management Certification from the Energy Management Institute (NYMEX).
Outside of work, Brad dedicates much of his time to caring for individuals with muscular dystrophy and down syndrome.
