Blake Guzy
Blake joined Matter in 2026 and sits in our Denver office. He was drawn to our relationship-driven approach to serving families and the purposeful way we help them thrive for generations. Blake appreciates how his work at Matter blends strategy, collaboration, and connection—challenging him to grow personally and professionally while making a lasting impact on our client families.
Before joining Matter, Blake spent two years at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients with investments, estate planning, and more. He also gained experience at Trinity Health Partners, where he helped identify and address organizational challenges, and Demarche Associates, an investment consulting firm. His background in traditional wealth management and process improvement gives him a unique skillset and perspective.
Blake earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, completing a BA in entrepreneurial studies and history and an MS in management. He also holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
In his free time, Blake enjoys outdoor activities that connect him with nature—especially skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and camping. He’s also an Eagle Scout and former volunteer firefighter, and he deeply values being of service to people and community.
