Julia Jacobs, MBA
Julia shares Matters’ conviction that people are the top priority. She joined our team in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience in human resources, including 13 years in financial services. Julia’s expertise spans organizational design and transformation, workforce strategy, leadership development, and employee relations. A passionate people leader, she has led diverse teams across dozens of countries, including two years living and working in Dubai.
At Matter, Julia drives team alignment and growth to ensure we consistently provide our client families with exceptional experiences as our business evolves. She is keenly focused on Matter’s commitment to helping families thrive for generations and dedicated to realizing the same goal for our firm.
Julia holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BA in psychology and communications from American University. She is certified in Hogan Assessments and both a Korn Ferry leadership coach and a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach.
Outside of the office, Julia spends as much time as possible with her husband, son, and border collie-poodle mix, Maxine. She loves to ski, travel abroad, and escape to Northern Wisconsin, where her perfect summer day involves boating on the lake and fishing with her family.
